Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry seeks to develop a means of understanding the needs of, and furthering the interests of the young people of our parish.

Our Confirmation Classes are offered on Sunday evenings directly following our 5:00 pm Youth Mass.  9th graders meet once a month, 10th graders meet once a month, and once a month we hold a combined 9th & 10th grade session that brings their learning to a higher level.

We follow a LIFE TEEN based curriculum, which takes the fundamental Catholic tenets and doctrine and puts it to the teens in their own language, with real life examples and role-playing that help get the ideas across to them.

In addition to our class offerings, we run several other youth-related activities, including but not limited to:

- Fall and Springtime Youth Retreats;
- A 10 th grade retreat prior to Confirmation;
- A Ski Retreat Weekend;
- A Summertime Retreat to Steubenville;
- Many opportunities to perform service hours throughout the parish by helping in various programs serving the elderly, youth, and needy of the Diocese.

Finally, we hold a Youth Mass on Sunday Evenings at 5:00 pm, which is geared toward the teens of our Parish. The music is upbeat and energetic, and performed by the youth themselves. Homilies usually focus on relating the readings directly to real-life experiences of the youth. It is a time for gathering of friends to celebrate their faith. Contact: Marilyn Tickner, Youth Minister 468-4122 Ext. 336.

Mega Youth Ministry
Mega Youth Ministry is a joining of five parishes on the West Side of Syracuse, for the purpose of making it cool to follow Jesus. Under the direction of Justin Fatica, Mega Youth Ministry (MYM) will host events every Wednesday night, where Jr. High and High School students can come together. MYM events will be run by a different parish each week and will include Praise and Worship, a Speaker, skits and Prayer, with one common theme. The participants will be able to discuss the problems or issues in their daily life and learn that Christ will be there to help them along the way. MYM is not associated with but in addition to Religious Education and Confirmation. If you are interested in helping in any way you can please contact the rectory (468-4122) or Mary Schwanke (559-2901 or Email).
